This morning we went to Music and the Spoken Word. It was a real treat for Kelly, who is a singer, not so much for Craig, but he endured it well. Afterwards we attended sacrament meeting in the Ensign 18th Ward, which is mostly single adults and senior missionaries, I think. There is no Primary or YM/YW. They meet in the Joseph Smith Building so I jokingly thought, "Maybe a GA will be in attendance." The joke was on me. Elder Tad R Callister, one of the seven presidents of the seventy, was there sitting on the stand. It must be a common occurance. The speakers weren't the least bit fazed. In fact, no one even reacted. The counselor conducting the meeting was a little ruffled, but maybe that's his natural state.
Yesterday we had lunch at Tucano's, a Brazilian grill where they bring skewers of rotisserie-grilled meat to your table. It is a true dining experience and one we look forward to whenever we come to Provo. Craig, who had been licking his chops all morning and refused to visit the salad bar, lest it take away space for the mail course, ate an unbelievable amount of meat. He continued to eat for another 20-30 minutes after the rest of us were sated. One of the meat guys kept asking him where he was putting it all. We finally did an intervention and saved him from himself by declaring him done. He mentioned a slight cramp when we walked out, but his stomach was not the least bit distended. He felt perfectly normal that evening. I'm still not sure how he kept from exploding.
