The Newest Cheerleader

First off, would you just look at those legs?  How is it that the boy of the family got the great legs?  So, the powder puff football game was yesterday, along with the pep rally.  The boys "danced" at the pep session and cheered at the game, which was the only entertaining part of the football game because let's face it, girls don't play football very well and flag football isn't very interesting.  Anyway, he had a great time and ended the pep session dance by blowing kisses at the crowd.  It took a lot out of him physically, but he doesn't have much going on this weekend so I'm hoping he'll rebound.  Here's the video of the dance.  The powderpuff team is in the way so you can't see all of it, but you can see Craig.  It's a little blurry, but it gives you the idea.  He's the one with the white legs.  Oh, we bought the leggings to cover him up (the skirt was frighteningly short, though he did also wear shorts underneath.)  The pep session was before school started.  They did a couple of run-throughs beforehand to practice and by the time he was on the court for the real thing he already had a hole in the knee of his leggings, hence the green duct tape in the pictures.

Craig's next adventure is the school play.  Abby and I have been encouraging him to get involved with the drama department for a couple of years.  He needed a fine arts elective for graduation and decided to take a drama class.  The teacher is a funny, quirky guy--a perfect fit for Craig.  I don't know what the play is called, but it has something to do with blind dates and Craig plays the guy with all the phobias.  I can't wait!
