Craig decided to go into the middle school and meet Kelly at her locker today when we picked her up after school. (Perhaps he was hoping to impress some more 7th-grade girls.) He stuck his foot up on the dashboard of the car to tie his shoe. Then he said, "What if they had a contest where you were in a car going a hundred miles per hour, heading for a wall and you had to tie your shoe before you crashed and the air bag caused your knee to break your face. Or they could have the Extreme Olympics. Event number one: Mouse-Trap Catch. Event number two: Rat-Trap Catch. Event number three: Bear-trap catch. Whoa! That would be intense!" On that note he left me and went to get his sister, highly satisfied by his imagination.
